Project Description:
Rockfall protection of the National Road No. 153 between p.km 21+150 and p.km 22+400. The National Road 153 runs into a valley with uncountable rock faces having severe stability problems. The investigated section is affected by frequent rock falls with rocks' size ranging between 0.5 and 2.0 m3.
Activities Performed:
Geo mechanical survey, stability analysis (limit equilibrium method)
Rock fall analysis, definition of the hazard, design of rock fall barrier and of consolidation intervention
Supervision during the installation of the interventions
